Graphic Novels in the Library???





Michael Pawuk has worked as a teen services librarian for over 10 years at the Cuyahoga County Public Library system in Northeast Ohio. An avid collector of comic books and graphic novels since he was a boy, he's been recognized as one of the leading librarians in the United States on the subject. In 2002 he chaired the all-day YALSA pre-conference "Get Graphic @ your library" which included guest speakers Neil Gaiman, Art Spiegelman, Jeff Smith, and Colleen Doran and he regularly speaks on building graphic novel collections for libraries. He lives in Parma Heights, Ohio with his wife Laurie, infant son Nathan, and pet cat Zuzu.

Sean Kollar is a freelance artist and illustator and reguarly conducts illustration classes for ages. He currently resides in Cleveland, Ohio.
